The chrome and brightwork carry their age honestly, but they'll still shine with a little polish. Underneath, the undercarriage looks solid. Lift the hood to find a 390 cubic-inch V8 with a four-barrel carburetor, paired with a smooth three-speed automatic. It starts right up every time and runs quietly, just the way a T-Bird should. Inside, the cabin is about 95 percent original, with a dash pad, headliner, and carpet in good shape. The driver's door panel and seat could use some minor attention, and the driver's window needs a look, while the rest roll down nicely. Options include power steering, power brakes, AC (inop), the iconic Swing-Away steering wheel, a remote trunk release, a modern AM/FM stereo, and more.
